He I bought a 2006 Peugeot 206 sw 2 weeks ago on sunday I noticed the oil pressure gauge on the dash was displaying an oil level gauge fault ie: —— six underscores flashing with no ‘min’ lit up. At the same time approx 5 secs after starting the engine the oil warning light comes on the car bleeps and the stop word illuminates and flashes.

Why does my Peugeot 307 have insufficient oil pressure warning?
