Why is the battery on my Kia Venga running dry?
My Venga battery has run dry – probably because I’ve been driving a lot of short trips lately. So instead of getting a jump-start my idea was to get it inside and connect it to the charger – alas, I’m dumbfounded as to how to remove the battery from the car.

It’s apparently somehow fixed on the base, but I can’t seem to find the screw that needs to be loosened to get it out. Has anyone done this before?
Where is the battery located on a 2017 Kia Kuga?
Most of them are held in place with a clamping plate either in the top of the battery, or against the side face at the bottom of the battery. When the wife brings the car home i’ll go look. 2017 Ford Kuga ST. Race Red I would nip out and have a look for you but it is absolutely chucking it down just now.
Where is the hold down bolt on a Kia?
The rear hold down bolt is completely out of sight and is behind the centre of electrical “black box”. You will need a 12 mm. socket & a short extension & probably a mirror to see it !! just informative if someone will replace the battery at home.
