Why is my Pedelec electric bike not charging?
There is a green light on the charger (which fades when un plugged from the battery), and when turned on red lights on the battery where the power level is indicated. I have just opened the battery and the fuses look fine (useful thing to do anyway as I know now I can easily get replacements if that goes wrong!).
Why does my Goldwing 1200 Charger not charge?
The 1200 charging system doesn’t charge until the RPM gets up over 2000, that is why it dies when the RPM drops off. Check the voltage at the battery with the engine running above 2000 rpm. Should be above 12.8 volts.

Most bikes just cut out finally when the battery empties on the road and stay that way, but the Salisbury/Windsor cuts out at end of battery content under load but reconnects motor power if the workload is reduced. That could give the power on and off that you are getting, and would also mean it would cut out completely on a climb.

Are there any issues with the GL1200 Goldwing?
The GL1200s are well known for stator problems and also melting the stator plug, located directly above the battery. They get a little loose and start arcing…..get warm…..and melt.

So you have a 130-watt charging system in this example. Now, you can take the wattage of all those electrical accessories and see if you’re under or over your 130 watts and how much you have to play with. You can check your system by putting a volt meter on your battery. Or add a volt meter gauge to your motorcycle.
