Error on the odometer usually means a miscommunication between the PCM (and sometimes BCM). In my case, I had to get a new PCM. Your first order is to get the battery functional though. Well, we got a new battery as the old one was shot. However, it did not solve the problem. Still nothing and swinging needles and error on odometer.
