Why is my Audi heater blower not working?
The problem with the fan is the spade connectors inside the fan pictured below. The following shows how to remove the fan if doing the above doesn’t work or you want to go straight to the resoldering option or new fan.

A blower motor without power will not be able to produce any air pressure, and as a result the heating and air conditioning system will be left with no air coming from the vents.

beside the main unit, under the central console, are the actuator solenoids for air control. if its a suspected resistor problem, send it to the guy in hull who will fix it by return of post, quite cheaply. if the fan is connected to 12v directly (DON’T leave it connected or it will burn out) and it doesn’t work…. go to ebay for a replacement…
Where is the fan on a 1999 V220 Ambiente?
Click to expand… I have a 1999 V220 Ambiente with same problem, fan sometimes works and comes on over speed bumps. I have located the motor, visible behind left hand dash vent, but can’t get at it to remove. Even when working it’s not powerful so needs replacing or new brushes, just need to remove it.
