Why does the remote not unlock the rear hatch?
If car is running the remote will not unlock the rear hatch. is not started, it is locked as I walk up, if i leave it locked or unlocked, it does not unlatch either way, just blinks lights and stays locked. yes, pressure pad on hatch always works, it just the fob that will not work. I have the LX so just wondering.

The transmission was overheating (with an outside temperature of 60u000b°!) and when I reached to turn the engine off, I accidentally pushed the hatch release, so I had to get out and close it, which wasn’t appreciated by the cars behind me.

The tail lights and rear blinkers work but it just seems like there is no power getting to the push button that operates the door. Thanks for any info! Make sure that the “PWR rear door off” button by your left knee has not been pressed.
