Why does the low oil indicator never come on on Honda Odyssey?
The low oil indicator light never came on because Honda doesn’t have this feature. Once you run out of oil, the low (no) oil PRESSURE warning would come on. This would probably be a flashing check engine light or flashing oil light.

However, Ialso saw mention of the screen/filter on the VTEC valve assembly gettingclogged. Into the shop….dealer. They said it was the oil pressure switch onthe VTEC assembly and $270 later they said it was fixed. Exact same symptoms on the way home from thedealer.

Auto parts stores will read them for free, but most use equipment that will only pull current codes with the engine light on. Your Honda is going into “limp” mode and has significant issues. 120K miles on the original plugs means you have to a lot of stuff to deal with. The Odyssey tends to have transmission problems as they age.
What should I do if my Honda Odyssey vibrates?
2006 Honda Odyssey with about 120,000 miles on it. Check engine light and VSA light came on at the same time. Car vibrates dramatically and has little to no acceleration. Put off the engine and restarted. Car worked fine after that. Has happened twice in the last 2 weeks. Any thoughts on what this might be + what do I need to do to fix it?
