Why does my Ford F150 shudder at 45 mph?
The only issue was that the car would shudder pr even buck a bit ONLY at speeds around 40 MPH and ONLY when the accelerator was backed off of slightly and when an attempt was made to feather the pedal and maintain a steady speed. This was traced back to a light film of corrosion on a coil wire. Cleaned that off and the problem went completely away.

Why does my traverse shudder at 30 mph?
I have a 2012 traverse. There is a shudder under acceleration that starts at 30 mph and will continue to 40 mph were it goes away. I don’t think it is a transmission issue as the transmission will shift with no affect on the shudder. this issue started when I had about 97000 miles and has gotten worse.
What causes drive train shudder at 110, 000 miles?
We had the same shudder at 110,000 on our 2012 AWD. We had some time left on our extended warranty that we purchased from CarMax when we bought the car with 19,000 miles. It was a failed torque converter. It’s is a well known problem among GM mechanics, at least in Southern California. It probably should have been a recall.
