Why does my Nissan Alti not turn off?
Nissan designed the new Alti’s that way to address the huge problem of window fogging in these cars. It was their idea of a “quick fix” instead of thinking the problem through and making the proper modifications to the car. I’m lucky since I have the auto climate controls, so I can turn off the A/C whenever I want.
Why does my Nissan club AC not turn off?
Positions the air mode doors to the defrost position. Also positions the intake doors to the outside air position. The compressor remains ON until the ignition is turned OFF. I am looking for the reason in black and white, but assume it’s because it dries out the air and along with the heater raises the dew point.
What should I do if my AC won’t turn off?
If that’s yes, then it’s suppose to A/C the windsheild and help reducing fog up on the windsheild. As soon as the switch is set at the foot and defrost setting or any other except for the above mentioned, then the A/C is off.

Why does the AC Light not turn off?
If you press the recirc. the light does not automatically turn on except if the setting is chosen. Hope this helps out. ^^Just checked. Recirc. air comes on only when “max” is chosen. The button will light up. On the 05’s and up you have to shut the car off to turn off the AC no matter how you turned it on. Its in the manual. Not on max AC…
Why is the blower motor on my Nissan Altima not working?
Unfortunately the blower motor on the Altima is not working. The Blower motor LED lights light up to high speed but no fan. I am no where near the car ( My wife has it far away ) but I’m wondering if it is a fuse or the motor?
Why is the blower on my Nissan club not working?
Checked the two fuses, and they are both good. I can hear the AC compressor kick on if I lower the temp, but no air flow coming from the vents. Switching from defrost, floor, dash vents and no air flow. Manually adjusting the fan speed and still no air flow. It looks like there is a resistor plug that inserts into the blower assembly.
How does the Auto AC affect the blower motor?
In short, the blower motor is mounted in series with the fan control amp. The auto AC regulates the fan control amp, which regulates the voltage to the blower motor. A low speed setting causes a lower voltage across the blower motor, which makes the motor operate slower.
Why does my Nissan blower not shut off?
Most likely the fan amp. Ours is interchangeable with several diff Nissan cars with automatic climate control. Check some local JY as they are really easy to replace. Yup, it is the module for the blower motor. This is the electronic version of the fan resistor on non-climate control cars.
Why does my Nissan club not turn off?
Almost as unacceptable as there not being rear center hooks for a baby seat in the correct locations (too far apart, located for the side locations). :angry6: I can’t find jack squat in a search.
Why is my defroster not working on my car?
A control switch on the dash can fall apart allowing the vacuum to escape and not reach the servos. A defroster can also fade when traveling up a hill but then return once the grade is overcome which is a signal the vacuum check valve has failed.

Why does my defroster fade when I go up a hill?
A defroster can also fade when traveling up a hill but then return once the grade is overcome which is a signal the vacuum check valve has failed. If you are not sure which kind of system you have either vacuum or electronic any car made after about 1995 has an electronic system with no vacuum controlled vent door servos.
What causes air vents to stay in defrost position?
If you have an older car then the defroster system is controlled by using vacuum supplied by the engine. Lift the hood and inspect the vacuum hose or tube that leads from the intake manifold to the passenger’s side firewall. The image below shows a typical line break which causes the vents to stay in the defrost position.
