Why does my motorcycle headlight keep burning out?
Vibration. The number one factor that causes a motorcycle headlight to burn is undoubtedly vibrating while a headlight is vibrating. Vibration can be caused by riding on rough and unstable roads, causing the headlight to Vibrate frequently, so there is no problem that you will ride on rough roads.

Why does my Polaris headlight keep blowing?
To the situation at hand, i purchased a 98 xc 600 earlier this year and had to update a few things to enable my safe riding. All went well except for the fact that my damn headlight bulb keeps blowing. At first the bulb would go along with the rest of the gauges and taillights. Easy enough fix…new regulator right?

If yes, check for any bare or burned spots on the wire. It’s common for the clamps to come loose or break and the wire loom to hit the exhaust pipe. Why are the lights flickering on my snowmobile?
Aside from that the voltage reg. is a good path. Just a added note, if the all the lights flicker (headlight, taillight, dash) there could be something happening at the stator. The stator has separate coils, one to power up the lights & accessories and the other to provide pwr to the CDI.

Why does my flood light keep burning out?
Bulbs can burn out from becoming excessively hot, even when using the correct wattage. If you are using a light bulb in a fixture that it is too big for or a fixture which is enclosed has the wrong light bulb being used, heat is usually the problem.
