14 people found this helpful. 1989 lincoln town car signature series rear passenger window goes down fine but barely goes back up. seems to be kinda skipping very weak from both master and it’s own switch does same thing.. anyone kno whats causing it? 22 people found this helpful.

There is a kit for about $10 that you can get at the auto parts store or you can clean it out and use 3 lock nits to replace the balls, but this will break your worm gear if the window ever jams in the future. don’t roll the window up on anything and you will never have a problem using the 3 nuts, it will last forever.
