Why does my Jeep Grand Cherokee not change gears?
Hi all, my Jeep has just stopped changing gear, it will go into reverse and forward gear but will not change upwards; max speed of 40mph. The fault light that looks like a gearbox has also come on.

What kind of problem does a Jeep Laredo have?
The tranny clunked then I could get nothing but gear 5 and no sport or paddle shifting and RPM stayed at about 3K but after 7 miles, I pulled over and stopped and everything normal. I have a 2005 jeep grand cherokee laredo 4.7L and I can’t get it out of limp mode.
