Why does my Honda CRV have a water leak?
Our 2001 Honda CRV Sports has a water leak. The water pools behind the driver in the passenger foot-well, enough so that if left outside in heavy rain a puddle will form. The Honda dealer suggested that it maybe a leaking windscreen, but wasn’t, and they removed and replaced the sunroof seals, which were also ok. The car still leaks.

You will have to get the car up in the air and take a small piece of wire and stick it through the drain to unclog it. There will be a small round rubber hose coming out of the firewall on the passenger side, under the hood. They get plugged up from leaves and will drain to the inside of the car.

Where is the water leak on the passenger side?
There will be a small round rubber hose coming out of the firewall on the passenger side, under the hood. They get plugged up from leaves and will drain to the inside of the car. If you take it to a shop where it can be raised, it will take about 5 minutes to unclog it.
