Why does my Honda Civic vibrate when I idle?
When you start the car with a cold engine, put on the brake, and put the car in reverse it vibrates really bad. When you let off the brake but still have the car in reverse it idles normal. Dealer adjusted all mounts and said no cracks. Then I was told the CVT fluid had to warm up to temperature before problem goes away.

Within the last month since the weather has become cooler, when I place my 2008 Civic in reverse, it sounds and feels like the engine is sitting in the front seat. Terrible vibration – especially in reverse and neutral, but when placed in drive, it goes away.
