Why does my Car start sluggish in July?
In the middle of July the car would start quickly per normal. First things first, its unlikely to be the battery or alternator. Next up is the Glow plugs, but having them all changed doesnt always fix the the problem as I have seen. …beyond this I cant suggest anything else.

After the battery has been charged then it can be tested with a high rate discharge test. If you are going to take it for a test make sure the battery is charged. There could also be a fault with the starter motor, but rule out the battery/charging system first. The glow plugs may be alright, the OP said it was sluggish to turn over.
