Why does my car have a grinding noise when I turn?

Plenty of pad left and no warning lights on dash, no marks on discs. Noise doesn’t change when brakes are applied. The grinding noise is there going straight and turning right, doesn’t seem to be there turning left. Would it be a bearing? Although I’ve only done 18,000. Any ideas welcome.

Sometimes it did it only when driving straight, other times when turning the wheel back and forth, it was never a true way to get it to make noise, just totally random. It does sound like dragging a foil pan or even a frying pan on concrete.
