Why does my bike jerk?
When accelerating, the engine counterweights increase in RPM throwing the outward plates. Now there will be clutch slippage until the point of finding traction. That is the jerk you experience.
Why does my bike fork rattle when I Ride?
Play in the headset bearings allows the fork to rattle when you ride over bumps. Solution: Adjust the headset to remove the play and tighten the headset so it can’t loosen again.
Why does my bike make a clicking noise?
Seriously, you should be able to determine if a noise is caused by a pedal or crank arm just by not exerting pressure on that pedal or even unclipping from it. Glad the noise is gone though. Nothing more annoying than bike noises….. Faster than a tent…….
Why do I hear a clunk when I pedal my bike?
If you hear or feel a clunk when pedaling, it’s probably caused by a loose bottom bracket or pedal. Solution: Check the latter with a pedal wrench, tightening both pedals. The right one is turned clockwise to tighten, the left is turned counterclockwise (more pedal information here).

noises can come from anywhere . don’t be fooled into thinking its the pedals. try the seatpost and seat bolts are tight. the clamp where the handlebars clamp onto the stem. i had an anoying creak/click from the pedal area and narrowed it down to the handlebars!!. a quick nip and hey presto. sorted.
