Why are the low beams on my Liberty Sport not working?
I have a 2005 Liberty Sport and the low beams won’t come on. I have checked and changed fuses, wires and the headlight switch. I can’t find the low beam relay. Does anybody know where this is or what my problem is?? Had this happen in my old Ranger once… replacing the bulbs fixed the problem. Did that.

There is however also a single lowbeam relay, which gets its signal from the body control module. So have a look at this relay first. You could swap the low beam and high beam relay to be sure that the problem is the relay. Both relays are on the junction block, above the fuse box.

There are two relays…High Beam on the front of the internal fuse panel and Low Beam on the rear of the panel. The BCM supplies ground to pin 86 of the Low Beam relay to energize that relay to switch on the Low Beams….the BCM makes the decision to energize the Low Beam relay when it is sure that the High Beam relay is not energized.
