Why are my tail lights flashing on and off?

My wife is in the sleeper with the bunk heater running as well. I got out to use the restroom and noticed that my tail lights (on the cab) are flashing on and off about every 1-1.5 seconds. I do not have any idea why… my lights are off, my hazards are off and there is not even a key in the ignition.
