Why are my front and rear passenger windows not working?
Hey guys, just picked up a 2007.5 silverado 1500 and my passenger front and rear windows stoped working. I know for a fact they were working the night before. (No the Window lock button is an not on). Not working from drivers side or at there doors. Its not the circuit breaker???? Any help out there
What causes a car door to stop working?
Broken wires in the driver side door jam is a common issue on cars this age along with dirty switch contacts. thanks – i think i’ll have to see if the mechanic can figure it out.
What does it mean when your door lock stops working?
You say that one of the windows works at least somewhat so that would seem to indicate the power to the windows should be ok since power is usually shared by the windows from a common source through a circuit breaker.that may be in the panel under the hood along with the fuse for the door locks which I would suspect should be in the same panel.
Can a passenger side window be controlled from the driver side?
After the jump start the passenger window stopped working. It works fine from the passenger side switch. Any ideas? I’d rather avoid a trip to the dealer if possible. Thanks. My passenger side front window can no longer be controlled from the driver’s side.
Why is my front passenger window not working?
Following the battery being replaced, the driver switches commanding all 4 windows failed to control the front passenger window. Upon reaching across the passenger seat, I found the passenger door switch still was able to command the window down.
Why is the side of my car door not working?
The switch on the side of your door may not be functioning properly. Each time you press down on the up or down part of the switch, it wears the switch out just a little bit more. Same problem with my recently acquired 2013 Supercrew. It has happened twice in 2.5 weeks and at first I thought the door was stuck shut, but after seeing this thread I pulled harder and it worked. For the moment it seems to be working just fine.

Is the rear passenger side window open on the RX350?
On the RX350 2013 rear passenger on driver side window does not open. Slammed the door while holding switch down. Window opened. Great!! now tried to close it and its stuck in open position. So slammed door again and it went up half way.
