Why are my brake lights not working on my GMC Canyon?

The reverse lights and turn signals work still? Would it be a fuse? Help please. If neither are working, check the fuse, and by check I mean I would just replace.

I have a 2005 Canyon 4X4 crew cab with the 5 cylinder. It has been great. Now have 93K miles. No problems at all. It has never been back to a shop except for alignment and normal tire rotation and oil changes. Do my share of 4 wheeling too but no abuse, just back country driving and pulling a small camp trailer.

I bought a used 2004 Canyon with 12,400 in April.Only complaint is a lack of a decent coffee cup holder.Before this truck,if anyone told me to buy GM,I would have said I rather chew on glass and wash it down with molten lead! I have a 2006 Colorado that wore out the right front tire after 8,000 miles.

What to do when your park lights wont turn off?
When the relay lost power due to the switch being off it just stayed on instead of stopping the current flowing through it. Look under your fuse box lid, find the rely that controls the lights, and switch it temp with another relay from the fuse box and watch all your problems go away.

Is it dangerous to drive with brake lights not working?
Driving at night with either brake lights or tail lights not working is dangerous for you and other drivers on the road. It takes a long time to notice when the brake lights not working but tail lights are or vice versa. It is so because you won’t know what is happening in the backside while driving until someone points it out.
