GOT7’s Jackson Wang and the other members left JYP entertainment in January 2021, after completing seven years with the company. Jackson Wang revealed saying, “I could work everywhere except for Korea, that was the deal. Since the contract ended, I’m trying to bring everything back [that] I’ve done in four years.”

No they did not. They DID refuse en masse to renew their contract with JYPE, and most of them are going to separate agencies (2 are going to Jay Park’s agency, I do believe). However, ALL of them have said that Got7 is NOT disbanding & that they will continue Got7 activities.

Sadly, JYPE has repeatedly mistreated them. JB, who’s a great producer and songwriter, once said J.Y. Park rejected his song, and he didn’t even listen to it for 5 seconds! During one of their live broadcasts, Mark asked the staff to give him chopsticks, but they gave him a used one instead of a new one.
