Can a jeep WK2 have an open front diff?
There wasn’t a single WK2 with QD2 in that vid. Not saying it’s a bad comparison of different Jeep systems, however. To better answer your question, the newer WK2 with QD2 does indeed have an open front diff (as does every WK2 4×4), but it has much smarter brakes that can stop the spinning front wheel, which forces power to the other front wheel.
