What does ” Stop Leak ” do for rear main seal?
I don’t know exactly what stop leak does, but I would either ignore it or replace the main seal. It’s not a hard job at all, just MESSY. The guy at o’reillys said that stop leak helps expand any seals or gaskets causing the liquid to less likely be able to excape or “leak”.
