Where does the thumping sound come from on a Mercedes ML350?
Three weeks later the ML began making a clunking / thumping noise that was coming from the left rear cargo area. I also advised them that there was a cracking / creaking sound where the dashboard meets the windshield, and occasionally along the “A” pillar.
Why does my Mercedes make no noise when going over a speed bump?
When going over a speed bump straight (head on), there is no noise because the bar is moving in the same direction on either end and no twisting. The end links appear good and the bar seems to be clunking inside the bushings of the mounts.
