My daughter’s 1994 C180 has developed a mystery coolant leak. It is 5 speed manual with 177,000 km on the odometer. I first noticed the leak when I drove it to the petrol station to check the oil and tyres before she went on a 700km road trip.
Why do I keep losing coolant in my car?
You may be losing coolant through the cylinder and be sending it out of the exhaust a little at a time. This would indicate a Head Gasket problem that could be comfirmed by pulling and checking the Spark Plugs. All is not lost if it does turn out to be the Head Gasket.
