No, not at this time. Because Mercedes makes 4 wheel drive an option from the factory we felt it was best to leave the design & installation of the system to them so we could focus on improving other areas such as suspension. What’s the gear ratio on a Mercedes Sprinter?
At this time there is no aftermarket locker available in the U.S for second generation (NCV3 2006-2018) Sprinters. The rear end is manufactured by Mercedes. Gear ratio is either 3.92 or 4.18 depending on spec.

Why does my sprinter clunk when I change gears?
Some vans clunk when changing gear – especially in to reverse. Others report resonance/droning at around 2100 RPM. This appears to be caused by the angles of the drivetrain universal joints not being correct, or by the rear suspension leaf springs sympathetically vibrating. Dealerships appear to have a “fix” for these issues.
What does ASR do in a sprinter car?
Sprinters come with ASR (Acceleration Skid Control). It’s a form of traction control and most of the time it helps you out. However, sometimes you are going to need one wheel to slip in order for the others to do their job. There’s a button on the center console area to switch ASR off.
Do you have to use out of state dealer for sprinter?
Others have sufficient fleet business that they can slip those options in on a van for you. If you really need a fleet option, you might have to use an out-of-town or out-of-state dealer. That’s not a massive issue. Some will apparently even throw in a one-way plane ticket as an incentive to buy from them!
