When to replace Trans filter on 2016 Sierra Denali?
The dealer did the TSB (PIP5337A dated Jan. 22, 2016) double ATF flush and replace trans filter on my 2015 Sierra Denali 6.2L w/8-sp trans. Shudder is gone and has not returned in 1,000 miles. There is a new torque converter in the works to correct this condition. When it will be available is not known.
Why does my GMC Sierra 1500 say service 4WD?
Having similar issues as above, had to drive the truck in 4wd high for a short period of time without the rear drive shaft, heard a clunk and the service 4wd message came on, the front drive shaft quit which left me stranded.
When did I buy a 2016 Yukon Denali?
In other words, they give up to easily and start throwing parts at it such as a new transmission. I purchased a 2016 Yukon Denali in Jan. 2016. It will set in the carport for several days sometime before it is driven.

There is another problem looming with the 8-sp; “Shake and shudder on Acceleration Excessive Engine RPM Fluctuation – (Jan 20, 2016)”, all 2015-2016 with 8-sp transmission. Temp solution, double flush the trans, R & R the filter. If problem is not resolved the problem in internal to the torque converted and new one will be available soon.
