Insert the bulb into the tail light assembly and rotate it 1/4 turn clockwise to secure it in place. Once you’ve replaced the burnt out brake, turn signal or side marker light bulb, replace the rectangular grey carpet access panel over the rear of the tail light assembly.

Where is the turn signal bulb on a Hyundai Sonata?
The Turn Signal bulb’s socket is located closest to the center line of the vehicle. Remove the socket by rotating it 1/4 turn counter clockwise and pull it straight out of the tail light assembly. Remove the old turn signal bulb by pressing down and then rotating it 1/4 turn counter clockwise before pulling it straight out of the socket.
How do you replace a brake light bulb?
Press down on the old brake light bulb and rotate it 1/4 turn counter clockwise to remove it from the socket. Insert a new # 2357 brake light bulb into the socket, press down, and rotate it 1/4 turn clockwise to secure it in place. Place the new bulb into the tail light assembly and rotate the socket 1/4 turn clockwise to lock it in place.
