Because with any mpg, if MTE shows 30 miles the car should not stop. Because the car is sensing at that time that there is SOME gas in the car and the car should not quit. No MPG will give 30 miles MTE when there is no gas in the car. What do you think? It would be good to know what Subaru means by recently recorded fuel economy.
