When should I change the transmission fluid in my Jeep JK?
We recommend changing the fluid after approximately 30,000 miles or 2 years.

Why does my transmission jerk when I shift gears?
Transmission fluid that has aged and lost some of its frictional properties can also lead to poor shift quality. When your vehicle’s computer tells the transmission to shift gears, hydraulic pressure (provided by the fluid) squeezes a series of plates together inside a clutch pack…
What kind of gears does a JKU Wrangler have?
I have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler JKU with 35 inch tires and 4.88 gears. I recently took it to Silver Lake Dunes here in Michigan and it started losing power at high RPMs. It really acts up when fully depressing the accelerator. It will drop down to 3rd gear and I lose all power.
Why does my Jeep Wrangler slip out of gear?
I have taken off road twice since then where I have had it in 4WD. Both times has been in mud/water but not super deep. After both instances when I get back on the pavement in 2wd the jeep seems to either slip out of gear or looses power when accelerating hard to pass or going up hill.
Can a Jeep Wrangler go beyond 2nd gear?
Unrelated I had limp mode happen to me. It only happened from stop though, not in the middle of a drive. Yes it will not let you go beyond 2nd gear. First time posting on this site.

What to do about automatic shifting on Jeep Wrangler?
I can step on the accelerator and the RPM’s increase but no speed increase. After the first instance, I washed the jeep and made sure I sprayed underside where the transmission and transfer case are and seemed to fix the issue.
