When does the grinding noise in my Jeep Go Away?
The noise is there from the time the truck starts to move. It’s present when I let my foot completely off the brake, on the brake, going straight, or turning. Once I put the Jeep into Drive and go forwards the noise goes away.

My jeep runs smooth as glass easily up to 80 mph and no rear end whine. I should have replaced the driveshaft long time ago. My 2005 GC Limited with Hemi has been noisy and not run smooth for the last 60K+ miles. It has 144k on it. This included front and rear vibration between 65-75 mph and a lot of rear end whine.

Made a road trip to Jersey from AZ and noticed a thumping sound coming from the RF of the car between 5 and 25 MPH then it would go away. Wound up with the 2 Original Conti’s still on the car with 68k on them one went flat so I decided to replace them with Pirelli p7’s. Replaced the 2 rear tires and kept the New Pirellis on the rear.
