When do you Prime the engine does it continue to run?
Once the engine starts with the “prime” does the engine continue to run or does it die out. If it continues to run, do you have to prime the engine when it is warm after a short shut down to get gassed up or get groceries. Let me know.

Why does my fuel pump not start after sitting?
When the key is turned on the fuel pump only gets 2 seconds of power, so if the line pressure is at zero there isn’t enough run time to pressurize the fuel system. Cycling the key a few times forces the pump to run for 6 seconds instead of just 2 and this will pressurize the system and allow for a quick start

To be able to get it to start the truck has to be primed with the key and then put the gas pedal to the floor while cranking. I have recently replaced the fuel filter, air filter, and fuel pressure regulator in attempt to fix this problem.
