Why is my steering rack leaking on my Honda CRV?
Steering rack & pinion was found to have a leak. Affected steering performance of vehicle along with leak being a fire hazard. Purchased new in 2007. Very early failure of power steering rack and pinion. The dealer/Honda did not provide a better mechanism to identify the issue.

2008 Honda crv with less than 67000 miles. Taken for inspection in March and was told the rack and pinion needs to be replaced. Starting to leak. Needs to be replaced within a couple of months. I never saw where it was leaking. Took it in to dealership and had rack and pinion replaced.
