What kind of power steering does Mini Cooper use?

The purple arrow showing the crimped on hose clamp holding the low pressure (or return) line that carries fluid back to the reservoir. In regards to a diagnostic, the pump has its own electronics and can store 4 possible fault codes, no more and these are accessed via the ECU (the ECU does not store any PS Pump fault codes and is only a conduit to interrogate the pump) through the OBD port. Bottom line is, the pumps shot and needs replacing so save your money there.
