PAC’s SWI-ADAPT input adapter lets you connect a PAC steering wheel control adapter (sold separately) or any other PAC wiring interface equipped with a 3.5mm connector to a car stereo with a two-wire resistive steering wheel input connection.

What kind of stereo does PAC SWI-RC work with?
The SWI-RC works with most Alpine, Clarion, Dual, Jensen, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, and Sony stereos that have a wired remote control input port or a dedicated steering wheel input, but please call or email us to confirm compatibility with your radio.
Can a pioneer radio be used as a steering wheel control?
Pioneer AVIC-Fxxx radios do not interpret radio preset-seeking commands. This is a limitation of the radio, not the SWI-RC. There is no correction for this unless it comes from Pioneer. Pioneer radios with Bluetooth feature, the steering wheel controls will not adjust the phone call volume.
