What kind of engine does a Volkswagen Jetta have?
This generation of diesel engines is perhaps the most reliable engine ever made by Volkswagen. Very few mechanical problems. Great in town and highway driver. I actually invested in engine upgrades to give it 165 horse power as compared to the 90 stock horse power.
How long does a Volkswagen Jetta go from 0 to 60?
It always starts on the first try within 4 cranks, it never dies and the idle is firm and strong. 1.8T with a 5 speed manual gets this car from 0-60 in 6 seconds (tested with obd2 reader.) Not bad for a 15 year old Jetta! I never feel nervous about taking the car anywhere regardless of the mileage.
Is the VW Jetta worth the money?
Can’t beat it for the money, if they’ve been maintained properly they just wont quit! It handles far better than anything else in its price range and the interior feels very premium. I love this car and fully intend on buying another Volkswagen when the time comes.
