What is Replicare used for?
REPLICARE® Thin Hydrocolloid Dressing is indicated for the management of partial- to full-thickness wounds such as: ulcers (venous, arterial, diabetic, pressure), donor sites, surgical incisions, surgical excisions and first- and second-degree burns. REPLICARE® Thin is contraindicated for use on third-degree burns.

What color should a healing wound be?
Healthy granulation tissue is pink in colour and is an indicator of healing. Unhealthy granulation is dark red in colour, often bleeds on contact, and may indicate the presence of wound infection. Such wounds should be cultured and treated in the light of microbiological results.
How often do you change Hydrofera blue?
Change the dressing every 3 days and as required: If the dressing retained its blue color where it had been in contact with the wound, the new dressing can be left in place for up to 3 days. If the dressing turned white or lightened in color, continue daily dressing changes until blue color is retained.
