Glow plugs, injectors and ECT valve have been changed, and a new battery fitted, but still fails to start when cold. Once hot, starts OK. Did you use a diagnostic check to identify the problem before you changed the glow plugs etc. and if so what fault code/s came up? If you didn’t use a diagnostic then would suggest that you do as a next step.

Where is the neutral safety switch on a Saab?

The neutral safety switch sits onto the top of your transmission and lets the car know if it is in park, neutral, etc. If it doesn’t think you are in either P or N, then guess what, no electricity gets to the starter.
