What happens when you put a Polaris in reverse?
What polaris..put it in reverse the engine dies..electronic reverseon it. I have a like new 2016 Polaris rmk 800. Starts and runs I have a like new 2016 Polaris rmk 800.

Electronic Reverse? How exactly does the electronic reverse work? Something about it fires before TDC to force the crankshaft in reverse?? I have 2004 polaris’s with it and when you go into reverse polaris says hold the button but that stalls the engine!! all i do is push it once and let go and I’m fine why?
What happens when you press the reverse override button?
When the reverse override is pressed, the problem goes away. I’ve been through the schematic and checked all wiring and have not been able to put my finger on it. Other than replacing the reverse speed limiter, I’m out of ideas. Bruce! You have to hold the reverse override button down if you are going to give it much throttle in reverse.
