What happened to the old Granada studios?
The broadcasting tower and the red Granada TV logo on Granada House have since been removed. The studios were formerly the headquarters of Granada Television and later ITV Granada from 1956 to 2013. After a period of closure, five of the six studio spaces were reopened under the All Studios banner in 2018.
Can you still visit Granada Studios?
There are no longer any Studio Tours as such. The Coronation Street tours have stopped, but may start again one day. It is a short walk to the studios from Market street.
What is being built at Old Granada Studios?
A new nine storey workspace / residential building will replace the old annex building and will consist of retail units, workspace, and residential space. The new destination will foster business growth through the Enterprise City brand, which looks to provide workspaces for digital, tech and media industries.
