What grades do you need to get into Solihull Sixth Form?
You will need:
- At least two grade 6s at GCSE or merits on an equivalent course.
- At least a further three grade 4s at GCSE or equivalent, including at least grade 4 in GCSE English Language OR Mathematics, with at least grade 3 in the other one.
What time does Solihull 6th form start?
We are currently operating a staggered timetable, with each year group starting and finishing lessons at different times to avoid unnecessary congestion on campus. The College day starts at 8.30am, but lessons don’t start until 9.00am / 9.30am and continue until 4.05pm. There is a 15-minute break in the morning.
Does Solihull College offer A levels?
Solihull College & University Centre does not offer A-Level courses to our school leaver age students. The College offers a wide range of equivalent vocational provision in a wide range of subject areas, with progression routes leading to higher education and employment.

When does summit College in Solihull open?
The Summit Learning Trust has invested almost £3 million in improving facilities at the College, including constructing a brand new Science & Study Centre. The sustainably built facilities for Chemistry, Applied Science and independent study will be opening up for student use in September 2020.
