When the ABS light is on that is indicating that there is currently an Active ABS system fault. It could be anything, anywhere. All or part of your ABS will be disabled, but you will have normal regular air brakes. There is absolutely no way of telling what is wrong with out getting a fault code.

What does SPN tell you about a sensor failure?
The SPN is only telling you which sensor, the FMI will tell you the type of failure. It could be a sensor or wiring issue. Or it could something more serious like a wheel bearing issue making the sensor gap too large. The FMI can narrow that down a but more and eliminate a few possibilities.
