A heavy rainstorm let the water getting into the alarm module under the driver seat. Why is my DME alarm module not working?
The small fuse in the alarm module is blown. I opened the box, it is not in a good shape, there are mold and rust on the circuit board, it seems to have moisture and water in there for some time before it is completely gone. Anyway, I dried it thoroughly, replaced the fuse, and hooked it up again.

Is there a problem with the central locking system on a Boxster?
Since then everything has worked normally. Perhaps a dealer with a Porsche diagnistic computer could pin the problem down to the precise part by acutating the locking system components one component at a time and look for what piece triggers a fault.
