What causes power windows, door locks and climate control to fail?

What causes power windows, door locks and climate control to fail?

It was a multi system electrical failure of the power windows, power door locks, radio, and climate control system. It was intermediate, which lead me to believe it had to be a connection problem. After internet investigation I was lead to believe it was the 125 amp fuse under the hood on the outside of the fuse box.

What to do if your power door lock is not working?

If fuse is ok, i would first check the wires in the boot between the door and the body for any broken wire. If this is ok, you will have to measure on the window motor connector to see if power is there. Regarding the hatch door lock, there most probably the lever connecting the actuator to the actual lock has become loose.

Is the driver’s side turn signal working?

Driver’s side turn signal works intermittently. Mostly it doesn’t work, but once in a while it will. From the inside, there is no clicking and no green arrow. NOTHING happens. Its doesn’t appear to be affecting the light itself, hazards are fine and brake and tail lights are fine.

Are there any power window switches that work?

The driver and front passenger door power window switches are inoperative. Didn’t try the back doors. Midgate window does work from switch on the overhead console. Seat heater and all buttons on the driver & front passenger door are dead.

What happens when the climate control stops working?

Radio, climate control, power window, and door locks stopped working. All gauges stopped working but car still drove. This past year it stalled out and has never been the same, it’s inoperable. None of the inside electrical works.

Why are half of the Lights Out on my climate control?

Half of the lights are out on the climate control area. If GM knows this is an issue (there is a recall on vehicles 2006 and newer) they should be including the 2005 model as well. Radio, power windows, heated seats, and various gauges all stopped working at once while driving.
