What batteries does Duplo steam train use?
This LEGO® DUPLO® Train uses 4 AAA batteries.
How do you turn on a Duplo train?
On/Off Button
- The green On/Off button is underneath the train.
- Make sure that the 4 x AAA batteries are inserted.
- To turn the train On, press the green button.
- Successful activation will be indicated by the front light turning white and a short sound.
- To turn the train Off, the green button must be pressed.
Are Lego and Duplo trains compatible?
The toy train tracks included in this set make an ideal gift for LEGO® DUPLO® train fans and are compatible with your child’s existing LEGO® DUPLO® train collection (the action bricks are not compatible with older DUPLO trains). LEGO® DUPLO® products are specially designed to be fun and easy for little hands.
Are all Duplo train tracks compatible?
DUPLO® train tracks haven’t changed much over the years, so older tracks are fully compatible with the current ones. You can tell old and new tracks apart by the colour: the older ones are black, while the tracks we currently make are grey.
Are all DUPLO train tracks compatible?
Do Lego trains fit on DUPLO track?
All our motorized DUPLO® trains will work perfectly on these tracks. A couple good examples would be 10874 Steam Train and 10875 Cargo Train.
Do DUPLO and Lego fit together?
DUPLO® and LEGO® bricks are compatible, so you can use them together. There are some limitations, however. DUPLO bricks fit best on larger LEGO bricks and may come off easily from smaller LEGO parts. LEGO bricks will fit on DUPLO parts as long as the DUPLO ones have hollow studs on top.
Does DUPLO Toy Story Train fit on DUPLO track?
Our DUPLO® Toy Story 4 train wasn’t designed with tracks in mind. It will fit on most of the track pieces, though (just not switches, crossings, or bridges).
Are DUPLO and Mega blocks the same?
Yes, Mega Bloks Junior bricks are compatible with Duplo bricks. Both will fit together, both on top of and beneath each other, and both will fit next to each other when building a creation with rows of bricks. Both will fit on top of Mega Blocks First Builder bricks as well.
Do DUPLO trains fit Lego tracks?
