What are the new recovery drills army?
The Recovery Drill includes these stretches and movements, which are all part of PRT:
- Overhead Arm Pull.
- Rear Lunge.
- Extend and Flex.
- Thigh Stretch.
- Single Leg Over.
- Groin Stretch.
- Calf Stretch.
- Hamstring Stretch.
What is the Army regulation for PT test?
In accordance with AR 350-1, all Soldiers must attain a score of at least 60 points on each event and an overall score of at least 180 points. Soldiers in BCT must attain 50 points in each event and an overall score of 150 points.
Can a soldier take a PT test while on temporary profile?
A soldier with a temporary profile must take the regular three-event APFT after the profile has expired. (Soldiers with temporary profiles of more than three months may take an alternate test as determined by the commander with input from health-care personnel.)
Is the Army getting rid of PT?

What is passing score for Army PT?
The Army PT Test (APFT) score is rated by gender and age. A 300 is the best possible score one can achieve, but all you need is a passing score. The APFT standards require Soldiers to achieve at least 60 points per event in order to pass.
How often can the Army give a PT test?
The AA and Active Guard/Reserve (AGR) Soldiers will take the APFT at least twice each calendar year. A minimum of 4 months will separate record tests if only two record tests are given. The intent is for the Active Army and the AGR Soldiers to take a record APFT every 6 months.
Do generals do PT tests?
No they are not. As a Servicemember ages they are subject to different AFPT standards based upon their age group. The special operations community has a requirement that personnel must meet the standard for the 17–21 age group test.
