Can a circuit board medic repair a PCM?
Circuit Board Medics can rebuild the PCM/ ECM/ ECU that has been damaged by a failed ignition coil (COP) with no need for reprogramming. This is the most common problem with the PCM from these vehicles, and it is often indicated by one or more of the following diagnostic trouble codes: P0351, P0352, P0353, P0354, P0355, P0356.
What to do if your PCM is damaged?
If the PCM has been damaged by a failed ignition coil, then all 6 coils must be changed at the same time as the PCM. Instead of having to purchase the PCM in one place and the coils and plugs separately, we are offering a package deal. We strongly recommend using Motorcraft replacement ignition coils and spark plugs.

Why do you need to replace all coil packs at once?
So you’ve got a coil-on-plug engine and your check engine light comes on. You scan the codes, take some readings with your multimeter and determine there’s a misfire on cylinder 1 that can be traced to the COP.
