If you have the later radio type key there are no ‘cheats’ to over-ride the system and a diagnostic routine will be the way to go.

I only have 1 fob right now and drove the car yesterday with no issues, today I go to fire it up and get no reaction when I put the key in. The fob locks and unlocks the doors but does car does not recognize anything is in the slot so it will not start. Car battery is fine.
