Is there a way to clear a fault on a Jaguar?
I use Torque on my android phone with Bluetooth ELM 1327 plug to clear the fault. The bad news is that Jaguar do not sell the TPS seperately and will only sell a new throttle body. There are used ones around but you run the risk of a duff TPS again.

When I turned round to drive off noticed that every light on the dash was on and the computer was scrolling through fault messages e.g. Engine fault, gearbox fault, DSC not available, suspension fault, brake fluid low… and it just went on and on. But the car was running and driving fine. Turned it off and it wouldnt restart for a few minutes.

I had the same with my X-Type a couple of months back. After jumping to various conclusions, turns out it was a knackered battery. It’s been said many times before that battery problems will cause these error messages. Battery or Alternator was my first thought. I’ll get it checked tomorrow – at least its an easy fix.

Get the actual error codes from them to post here. Suspension messages, you have symptoms of a failing air compressor, it has 3 minutes to get the car to the proper ride height, if it fails you get the message, by switching off and back on you are effectively giving it another 3 minutes to get the job done.
